You may only be writing to me once but it is important that you understand the conditions under which I work with you.

• You are over 18 years of age.
• You are not suffering with a mental health problem, suicidal thoughts or are in crisis.
• We each make every effort to keep our shared work private and confidential by using a remote server like hotmail.
• We both have up to date anti virus protection installed on our computers.
  
• I will protect your identity and any personal details. The only exceptions will be if you give me reason to believe that you or other people are at serious risk of harm or when law compels me to. In the unlikely event of either of these things happening, I will make every effort to keep you informed and any information I pass on will be on a need to know basis only (such as doctors).
• I will acknowledge receipt of payment and will reply to your email within 48
   hours unless I write and state otherwise.
• If you choose MSN we will 'exchange emergency telephone numbers when we arrange the meeting , incase there are any technical hitches. The MSN session will usually take place within 24 hours of me receiving payment
• As a professional counsellor I receive regular supervision of my online work but I do not disclose any identifying information about you.
• Should I not feel qualified to give you a full and helpful reply I reserve the right to cancel my agreement with you and refund your money. However, when doing this I will help you to find alternative means of support.
• The charge for my counselling services is set out on toucnatalkonline/fees

  As a member of BACP and ACTO I follow their guidelines for good practice and I am answerable to their complaints procedure.
